Porcelain, known as Oriental Treasure, is the crystallization of Chinese wisdom; Two thousand years ago, based on the production of primitive pottery, the Chinese gradually accumulated experience and made porcelain that completely improved the quality of human life. This is the art of fire and earth created by the Chinese, and it is the magical nirvana of earth and stone in the fire.
Since the actual production of porcelain from the Eastern Han Dynasty, through Tang dynasty to Qing dynasty, after thousands of years of development, both the craftsmanship and the aesthetics of the glaze have reached the top.
Based on the taste, Chinese porcelain has two main types: Chinese taste and Western taste (export style). Chinese started exporting porcelain since 14th century. To 18th century, hundreds of thousands porcelains had been exported to Europe.
Chinese painting is unique and totally different with Oil paintings.
The two main styles in Chinese painting are:
Chinese jade refers to the jade mined or carved in China from the Neolithic onward. It is the primary hardstone of Chinese sculpture. Although deep and bright green jadeite is better known in Europe, for most of China's history, jade has come in a variety of colors and white "mutton-fat" nephrite was the most highly praised and prized. Native sources in Henan and along the Yangtze were exploited since prehistoric times and have largely been exhausted; most Chinese jade today is extracted from the northwestern province of Xinjiang.
Except Ceramics and paintings, ancient Chinese also created countless fantastic art treasures, the materials are various, such as Jade, Lacquer works, Bamboo, Bronze, Fabrics, Wood or Stone... etc.
